Ferguson Police responding to a burglary in progress in the 800 block of Hutton Place surprised two men who ran away. Police later arrested two men suspected of the Feb. 8 burglary.
Zachary C. Nunley, 19, of the first block of Joyce Allen Way, and Devonta L. Smith, 19, of the 500 block of Averill in Ferguson, were charged May 20 with second-degree burglary and resisting arrest.
Ferguson Police said the men admitted breaking into the home at about 11 a.m. Feb. 8.
Smith is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. A warrant has been issued for Nunley’s arrest. Bail was set at $15,000 for Smith and Nunley.
