Applications for the 2011-12 Saturday Academy program at the University of Missouri-St. Louis are being accepted through Aug. 26, the school's website states.
The program, which begins in October and runs through March, provides intensive Saturday work sessions for students in grades nine through 12 on subjects such as math, science, writing, college planning, career research, personal development and ACT preparation, the site states.
Students meet twice monthly with the exception of January, when one meeting is scheduled.
