The and its Partners in Education Committee selected two seniors from the Hazelwood School District to receive scholarships to support their college education.
Angelyn Rosenberger of Hazelwood West High School was among five students from North St. Louis County awarded $1,000 in college aid.
Rosenberger plans to study biology at Truman State University. Unable to attend the award ceremony, her father, Dr. Steven Rosenberger, accepted on her behalf. He said that his daughter is interested in becoming a dentist. She works in his office as a dental assistant.

Since 2004, the chamber has awarded $35,000 in scholarships to local students. The scholarship committee selects recipients based on their commitment to education, work ethic, community outreach and dedication to North St. Louis County.
