City Council to Vote on Approving Road Re-pavements, Does Your Street Need It?

The Hazelwood City Council will give a final vote on whether or not to approve an asphalt re-pavement project that consists of portions of five roads.

It will convene Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., to discuss this, along with additional city business. The council will meet in its chambers at Hazelwood City Hall.

The council heard first reading of the project at its May 1 meeting.

At that meeting, the council also recognized three Hazelwood Police Department officers recently promoted. The .

Should council approve the measure, the city would pay Gershenson Construction $138,019 for milling and asphalt overlay.

City Manager Edwin Carlstrom will also make reccomendations regarding consideration of a contract for lighting of streets and other places throughout the city.
