Parenting Education Workshop and Back-to-School Event

Family Resources and Community Connections, Inc. is hosting its first "Mini-Parenting Education Workshop and Back-to-School" event.

The event will occur at Christian Northwest HealthCare on Sept. 29. Enter through entrance 'A' and enjoy information including but not limited to:

• Parenting Education and Family Wellness
• Child Development
• Effective Communication with Children
• Healthy Relationships with Children
• Tips on getting to know your child’s teachers, principal and other staff
• What to look for in an Individual Education Plan (IEP)
• Mind, Body and Renewal Tips
• Nutrition Information and Tips
• Financial Literacy

Workshops will occur from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Parents attending the workshops will receive school supplies and/or gift certificates for uniforms while supplies last. Due to the adult education format, children need not attend.
