Friday Crash Sends Hazelwood Woman to the Hospital
The accident also involved a Florissant man. Both vehicles, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol, sustained minor or moderate damage.
A crash Friday at 4 p.m. on St Charles Rock Road (Hwy 180) and I-270 caused two North County residents to cross paths.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 25-year-old Shalandra Westbrook was stopped and yielding to traffic. At the same time, 66-year-old Florissant resident Joseph Bayne, failed to observe Westbrook's stopped 2011 Ford F-150 hitting the truck in the rear with his 2005 Chrysler 300.
Westbrook was taken to DePaul Hospital with minor injuries.

Both drivers reported damage to their vehicles; however, both vehicles were driven from the accident scene, according to the report.
