Hazelwood Crime: Person Attempts Arson, Sticks an Object in a Car Gas Tank

Here are a few of the crimes that occurred March 27 through March 29 in the City of Hazelwood. Hazelwood Patch obtained the accounts from the Hazelwood Police Department.

March 27

Attempted Arson: A person placed an object into another person's gas tank in the 300 block of Impala in an attempt to damage it.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested after marijuana was located during a traffic stop in the 8400 block of Latty Avenue.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested after drugs were located during a traffic stop in the 7200 block of Howdershell Road.

March 28

Stealing: Computer equipment was stolen from the Charter Communications tower located in the 6400 block of Howdershell Road.

Identity Theft: A person in the 200 block of Alma was the victim of identity theft. Her information was used in California to buy merchandise.

Second-Degree Robbery: A student at Hazelwood West High School stole another student's phone by force.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested for having drugs in the 7600 block of Hazelcrest Drive. Police discovered the drugs while investigating a loud noise disturbance.

March 29

Domestic Arrest: A man stole a woman's clothing during an argument in the 5300 block of Knollwood Parkway.

Identity Theft: A person's debit card in the 600 block of Lynn Haven Lane was used after purchasing items at Schnucks.
