Hazelwood Crime: Three People Use Road Rage as an Excuse to Assault a Man

And, a man harasses his ex through email. HPD supplied the information in Thursday's crime report. Arrests or charges listed don't indicate conviction.

Here are a few of the crimes that occurred March 21 through March 23 in the City of Hazelwood. Hazelwood Patch obtained the accounts from the Hazelwood Police Department.

March 21

Identity Theft: A person in the 400 block of Elm Grove reported someone else using their debit card.

Vehicle Theft: A vehicle left unattended and unlocked with keys in it was stolen while the owner was at work in 6000 block of Byassee.

First-Degree Burglary/Second-Degree Assault: A man was arrested for forcing his way into is ex-girlfriend's house and assaulting her in the 10 block of Teson Garden.

Identity Theft: A person in the 300 block of Chapel Ridge reported someone used their debit card.

Identity Theft: A person in the 7400 block of Olian reported someone used their debit card.

Stealing: A man was arrested for stealing in the 7400 block of N. Lindbergh Boulevard and fleeing the scene.

March 22

Domestic Assault: A man was arrested for forcing his way assaulting a woman in the 300 block of Chapel Ridge.

March 23

Vehicle Theft: A woman took her friend's car without permission in the 1400 block of Sieloff.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested for having marijuana on them during a traffic stop in the 6000 block of Howdershell Road.

Assault: Three people were arrested for taking road rage and turing it into assault. A man was assaulted in the 12000 block of Spring Forest after an incident on the road with the three people.

Burglary: Someone broke into a house in the 7100 block of Fordshire and stole several items.

Violation of a Full Order of Protection/Harassment: A man violated a restraining order by contacting his ex-girlfriend via email in the 1200 block of Bienville.
