Hazelwood Woman Charged with Stabbing Husband in Face
The man had wounds to his face, eye, tongue and back.
A Hazelwood woman was with stabbing her husband in the face and back Sunday in the 300 block of Chalmette Drive.
Ella D. Smith, 59, faces second-degree domestic assault charges after her husband told police she stabbed him. He had cuts on his face, eye, tongue and had a puncture wound on his back, according to a report.
A witness told police he saw Smith strike her husband in the face.

Bond was set at $25,000. Smith was in St. Louis County jail on Tuesday.
