I-270 Lane Closures Reopen, MoDOT Work Zones Finished Early
Both work zones were originally scheduled to be completed by 5 a.m. Monday, but MoDOT contractors completed ahead of schedule on Sunday.

For some Mondays tend to start off a bit rough, but one high note this Monday will be no traffic due to scheduled Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) work zones.
MoDOT closed the left lane of eastbound Interstate 270 between Lindbergh Boulevard and Interstate 170 Friday.
The closing of this stretch of highway, which goes through Hazelwood, began at 9 p.m. Friday, and was scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday.

A MoDOT statement issued Sunday afternoon stated that the work zones on both northbound Interstate 170 between Scudder and Frost, and the work zone on eastbound I-270 between Lindbergh Boulevard and Interstate 170 were completed ahead of schedule.
