Loss Prevention Officer Bit in the Line of Duty

A loss prevention officer working at at was assaulted while attempting to stop a thief on April 1. , an individual was suspected of stealing from the children’s store and loss prevention attempted to stop individual when he or she bit the officer’s finger. A second person stepped in to assist and assaulted the loss prevention officer as well, before both fled the property in a vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
