Man Beats Up Woman and Steals Her Car After She Refuses A Date, Police Say

And, a couple fights over the proceeds of a pawned wedding ring in Friday's crime report. The Hazelwood Police Department supplied the following information, and arrests or charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Drug Arrest: During a follow-up investigation regarding a larceny call, a person was caught with marijuana and arrested at the intersection of Chez Paree and North Lindbergh Boulevard.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested for having marijuana during a traffic stop in the 300 block of Taylor Road.

Stealing: A person was arrested for stealing from Sears Appliance Outlet.

Third-Degree Domestic Assault: A man and his wife were fighting over splitting $2,000 for a wedding ring they had recently pawned in the 10 block of Queen Ann Drive. Both people were arrested.

Stealing: The front license plate was taken off of a car on the St. Louis Outlet Mall paring lot.

Second-Degree Robbery: A man upset with a woman that refused to go out with him, assaulted her in the 600 block of Village Square Drive. After the assault, he took her car keys stole her car.

Fraud: A credit card stolen in Wentzville was used at the North Lindbergh Boulevard QuikTrip.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol: A teenager was arrested after causing a scene in the 6500 block of Serinity Circle.
