MoDOT Closes Lanes on I-270 Ramps to Westbound Route 370 in Hazelwood
The ramps will close Thursday for urgent pavement repairs, the Missouri Department of Transportation says.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close one lane on the northbound Interstate 270 ramp to westbound Route 370 starting Thursday at 6 p.m.
The reason for the closings are emergency pavement repairs. One lane on the westbound Interstate 270 ramp to westbound Route 370 is already closed and will remain closed.
MoDOT closed the left lane on the westbound I-270 ramp Monday afternoon after determining that the pavement was too hazardous to travel on. This was due to some water damage causing the pavement to buckle, according to MoDOT.

“MoDOT responded immediately after we noticed the pavement damage and we are doing everything we can to get the repairs on these ramps underway as soon as possible,” said Larry Welty, MoDOT Area Engineer for North St. Louis County in a statement. “We ask motorists to use alternate routes and adjust your travel times the next few days.”
One lane on each of these ramps will be closed until Friday afternoon while crews perform the repairs on these sections of highway, weather permitting. Motorists can still use the other lane on each ramp, but MoDOT says to expect traffic delays.
