Overnight Apartment Fire Displaces Two Families in Hazelwood
The fire may have been accidental, according to Hazelwood Police.

Two families might be very greatful after surviving an apartment fire in the City of Hazelwood Wednesday night.
The Hazelwood Police Department (HPD) reports it responded to an apartment fire at about 11:04 p.m.
The Hazelwood Fire Department (HFD), along with assisting agencies were on the scene of the fire at 8403 Tally Ho responding.

According to the police report, upon the officers' arrival they observed flames coming from the rear of the apartment building.
HFD extinguished the fire, which HPD said appeared to be accidental.

No injuries reported during the incident, but two families are now displaced. The American Red Cross of the Greater St. Louis Region is heling both families with supplies, clothing and a place to stay for the night.
