Saint Louis Man Charged In Hazelwood Break-In, Murder

Brandon Williams, 25, is charged with a break-in and shooting that left a 24-year-old Florissant man dead.

HAZELWOOD, MO — Brandon Williams, 25, has been charged with second-degree murder and burglary after police say he broke into an apartment and fatally shot a man in Hazelwood on Saturday.

Prosecutors say Williams broke a window to get into the bedroom of an apartment located in the 1100 block of Knollwood Parkway Drive around 12:45 a.m. He then kicked in a bathroom door and fatally shot a 24-year-old Florissant man, Chuckie Marion, multiple times, according to charging documents.

Williams' ex-girlfriend, who was at the apartment, told police that Marion was armed and returned fire, wounding Williams in the leg.
