The City of Des Peres released the Late Summer edition of their city newsletter, available online now and mailed to residents in the first weeks of August. Here are a few highlights from the issue:

  1. New website launch -- The City of Des Peres will launch a redesign of their website Aug. 16.
  2. Raising Cane's -- The chicken fingers specialty restaurant is coming to town.
  3. Russell Stover Candies -- Construction has started on the confectionery store and plans to open in the fall.
  4. National Night Out -- Des Peres will participate in National Night Out Against Crime Oct. 1. Is your neighborhood in the event?
  5. Dog Days of Summer -- The summer pool event for canines is scheduled for Sept. 3 to wrap up the season.
