When Aidan began therapy, he was a little boy that had a lot to say, but little of his speech was understood. Aidanβs speech consisted of many sound errors including several omissions and substitutions of sounds. Aidan was diagnosed with a severe speech delay.
As Aidan continued in therapy working hard and continuously practicing his speech sounds at home, more and more of his speech was understood by others.Β Currently, after a year and a half of therapy, Aidanβs speech has progressed from a severe to a mild speech delay.
