Citizens for Modern Transit Elects New Board Members

Citizens for Modern Transit (CMT) – the region’s transit advocacy organization – has elected two new members to its Board of Directors, including Tim Brinker of Greater St. Louis, Inc., and Laura Stock of Clayco Enterprise. Both will serve multi-year terms.

Brinker is the Senior Vice President for Government Relations for Greater St. Louis, Inc., where he leads government relations efforts at the federal, state and local levels to drive a public policy agenda focused on inclusive economic growth. Brinker brings a long history of service and leadership to this role, having previously served as the Presiding Commissioner of Franklin County from August 2018 to February 2025. During this time, he was a member of the East-West Gateway Regional Council of Governments and the Missouri Association of Counties, affording him the opportunity to be a strong advocate for initiatives that advanced collaboration across the bi-state St. Louis region. These included the Regional Pandemic Task Force and East-West Gateway’s ongoing efforts to reduce homicides and violent crime and address homelessness. Brinker resides in Washington, Mo.

Stock is an architect and interior designer with 15 years of experience, including nine years at Lamar Johnson Collaborative, a subsidiary of Clayco Enterprise. Her career has taken her on an exciting journey, working on a wide range of projects from private jet terminals to early learning centers – each contributing to her unique expertise. She is known for blending her technical knowledge, creative design skills, and project management style to make every project run smoothly, all while fostering clear communication with clients and consultants. Stock resides in the Dogtown area of St. Louis, Mo.
