County to Talk South Connector in Webster Groves

In an ongoing effort to educate the public and receive feedback on the South County Connector Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), representatives from St. Louis County will hold a neighborhood meeting Wednesday night at from 5-6 p.m.

Although funding currently is not available for the project and the South County Connector study is not anticipated to be finished until 2013, have sparked concerns from some Webster Groves residents.

have labeled the effort a "make-work" project while others have expressed fears that proposed construction could jeopardize historic homes along Laclede Station Road.
