Crime Log: Suspects Steal Gun, Pills, Cards From Webster Groves Vehicles

The following arrest information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, June 22

  • A black iPod and charger were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Chestnut Avenue between June 12 and June 13.
  • Two prescription bottles of pills were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 110 block of Pinetree Lane.

  • Police responded to a report of unknown person(s) attempting to enter a building in the 600 block of North Bompart Avenue. The person(s) did not gain entry.

Friday, June 24

  • Unknown person(s) took a purse containing credit cards, ID cards and a checkbook after breaking the window out of a parked vehicle in the 200 block of East Lockwood Avenue.
  • Police arrested four juveniles after investigating a report of damage to a public restroom in the first block of Allen Avenue.
  • Patrol officers found a Verizon Wireless purple and silver LG lying on the side of the road in the first block of North Gore Avenue.

  • A handgun was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the first block of Jefferson Avenue between June 24 and June 25.
  • Unknown person(s) vandalized portions of the sidewalk in the park in the 800 block of Bell Avenue with spray paint.
  • Unknown person(s) took a purse containing credit cards, a driver’s license, car keys, and a cell phone, along with other various forms of identification, after forcibly entering the victim’s parked vehicle. A white pickup truck occupied by two white males was seen near the incident. No license plate or further description is available.
