Downtown Kirkwood Road Work Monday

Sewer construction work in the 100 block of Kirkwood Road (between Argonne Drive and Jefferson Avenue) will result in traffic detours between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for about a week and a half, beginning Monday. Detour signs will be in place for motorists.

The northbound lanes of Kirkwood Road will be shut down during the first half of the work. Then the northbound lanes will open, and the southbound lanes will close. Steel plates will cover the work after 5 p.m., each night, to allow traffic to get through.
