Farmers' Market Sculpture Needs Name
The Downtown Kirkwood Special Business District is asking for residents to help name Downtown Kirkwood's newest piece of art.

For the past month, patrons have bought fresh produce, barbeque, iced treats and more under the gaze of one very large farmer holding a very large pitchfork, yet no one knows the farmer's name. That's because he doesn't have one, but soon that will change.
The Downtown Kirkwood Special Business District is holding a contest to name the farmers' market sculpture donated by local artist Brother Mel Meyer S.M. of the Marianist Galleries, which the city unveiled last month at the .
Residents need to submit their name for the sculpture along with contact information to the special business district by Wednesday. Entries will be accepted at the Kirkwood Farmers' Market on Saturdays, and through email and mail to the Downtown Kirkwood business office at:
