Get Out: Rock, Ribs and Refreshing Recreation
Here's a roundup of what's going on in and around Kirkwood and Webster Groves this Memorial Day weekend.

The Rhythm Rockers take the stage at in Kirkwood at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The band serves up feel good dance music from the past 50 years with an authentic, groovin' rhythm and blues style. Cover charge is $3 for individuals, $5 for couples.
Kirkwood Pool Opens
Kirkwood's Recreation Station Aquatic Center opens Saturday! The award-winning facility has everything from a lazy river, aquatic playground and lanes to swim laps. The pool is open noon-7:30 p.m. during the week, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on the weekends and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on holidays. Daily fee is $4 for residents and $6 for a non-resident guest.
Mike Renick Band
The Mike Renick Band will play college rock, originals and covers at in Webster Groves Friday. Doors open at 9 p.m. Cover is $5, 21+.

The local blues legend returns to Highway 61 Roadhouse, Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Throughout his life, Big George Brock has performed alongside fellow blues legends such as Howlin' Wolf, Willie Foster and Riley Coatie. Cover is $5.
Enjoy all-star ribs and killer music at the Rib America Festival at Soldiers Memorial Plaza in St. Louis, Friday through Monday. The festival features award-winning barbecue served by barbecue teams from across the country and musical acts including Puddle of Mudd, Kansas, Loverboy, Mark Farner (formerly of Grand Funk Railroad), Collective Soul, Seven Mary Three, Molly Hatchet, Fabulous Motown Revue and many more.
