Girlfriend Punched in the Face; Man Charged with Assault in Kirkwood

The woman told Kirkwood Police her boyfriend punched her in the head several times.

A North County man faces charges that he punched his girlfriend Sunday near Big Bend and Interstate 270 in .

Hosea Gary, 22, of the 10200 block of Ashbrook Drive in Bellefontaine Neighbors, was charged Monday with third-degree domestic assault.

His girlfriend told that Gary punched her in the face and head several times at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

Gary was released without bond Monday.
