  • Someone damaged a lawn decoration by starting a fire at Elm and Swon Avenues. The fire was confined and did not spread.

  • Sometime between midnight and 8:00 a.m., someone took several items from an unlocked vehicle parked in the victim’s driveway in the 400 block of Woodlawn Avenue. Missing items included a Tom Tom GPS, a radar detector and a brief case containing personal items.
  • Sometime overnight, someone threw a large patio rock through the rear window of a parked vehicle in the 600 block of South Elm Avenue.
  • Sometime between Saturday and Sunday night a car parked in the 800 block of Eunice Avenue was struck by another vehicle. The striking vehicle left the scene. There were no witnesses to the incident.

  • Between 5:30 p.m. Monday and 1 a.m. Tuesday, someone stole a 2005 Ford truck while it was parked in the street in the 100 block of Oakwood Avenue.
  • Someone took cash, a cell phone and credit cards from two parked vehicles in the 100 block of Euclid Avenue sometime overnight.
  • A cell phone was taken from an open property storage bin in the 300 block of West Pacific Avenue while the victim was at gymnastics practice.

  • Sometime over the weekend, a GPS and XM satellite radio were taken from a parked, unlocked vehicle in the 1500 block of South Rock Hill Road.Β 

Friday, May 13

  • Sometime between Wednesday and Friday, someone gained entry into a home in the 800 block of Cornell Avenue by forcing open the basement door. Several personal items were taken. Β Β 
  • Police responded to a fight between several subjects in the first block of Waymire Avenue. During the altercation, a wallet and cell phone were stolen. Two suspects were arrested and charges are pending.
  • Three suspects used a stolen vehicle in an attempted burglary in the 500 block of Locust Court. Police responded to the scene following a report of a burglary by the resident. While fleeing, the driver of the stolen vehicle attempted to strike the vehicle of a police officer. The suspects were then pursued into St. Louis City where they were taken into custody. Those arrested are suspected of numerous auto thefts and burglaries in the area and charges are pending. See related .
  • Someone damaged a car parked in the 300 block of Rosedale Place by throwing sauce and cans of soup on the vehicle.

Saturday, May 14

  • A generator and a chain saw were taken from the open bed of a parked pickup truck in the 600 block of Bacon Avenue some time overnight. The owner stated he heard a vehicle with a loud muffler speed off at about 11:30 p.m.
