$10K in Items Stolen From Kirkwood Home, Police Say

Kirkwood police are investigating a report of more than $10,000 in items being stolen from a home, plus another resident finds fraudulent charges from Las Vegas on his debit card.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

July 19:

At 6:47 p.m., officers responded to the first block of Hawthorne Court for a report of a theft from the home. A resident reported that more than $10,000 worth of property was taken from the home over the previous week.

July 20:

At 8:50 a.m., officers responded to 1300 block of Evans for a report of a stolen bicycle. A resident reported his 21 inch Hybrid Schwinn bike was stolen from the bed of his pick-up truck overnight while the vehicle was parked on the street

July 15:

At 9:47 a.m., a resident from the 1900 block of Greenglen reported an identity theft to police. The resident learned his debit card was used for a purchase in excess of $500 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
