Kirkwood Man Accused of Sex Torture Raises Issues With New Evidence

The lawyer of Bradley Cook says new evidence damages federal charges relating to sex slavery case.

The lawyer of Bradley Cook, one of five men accused of torturing and sexually abusing a mentally disabled woman, filed a motion Monday in the federal court in Kansas City, MO, that accuses prosecutors of using evidence against Cook that was based on deceptive jailhouse informants, ο»Ώthe St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The motion also alleges that federal prosecutor's withheld evidence in support of Cook's innocence, according to the Post-Dispatch.Β 

In September, five Missouri men, including Cook, were indicted in the federal sex slavery case. Since then, two of the men have pleaded guilty and the wife of the alleged ringleader has been added to the list of defendants, the Post-Dispatch reports.
