Kirkwood Police Investigate Recent Thefts

Kirkwood police report thieves target an air conditioning unit and cars.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

May 20:

At 9:42 a.m., police responded to the 1200 block of Lynchester for larcenies from vehicles. Some of the items taken from the vehicles were a Lenovo laptop, an iPod, a Garmin GPS, and prescription sunglasses.

May 20: 

At 2:19 p.m., police handled a theft report of refrigerant from the resident’s air conditioner. Approximately 14 pounds of coolant had been drained from the air conditioner. The caps on the air conditioner were loosened and there were no signs of a leak.

May 20 - May 26: 

Kirkwood Police arrested one adult for shoplifting from a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.
