Kirkwood Police Make DWI, Drug Related Arrest

Police report a "suspicious person" call landed one person under arrest after drug paraphernalia was discovered nearby.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

Tuesday, Jan. 22:

At 11:14 a.m. police responded to a "suspicious person" call in the 300 block of Alsobrook Street. When officers arrived, they said they found an adult sleeping in a vehicle with drug paraphernalia on the other seat. Police arrested the person, who does not live in Kirwood, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunday, Jan. 27:

At 12:53 a.m. police pulled over a driver for a traffic violation near North Kirkwood Road and Wilson Avenue. Police report the driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
