Kirkwood Police Report Thefts
The following arrest information was supplied by the Kirkwood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Kirkwood police blotter for May 16 through May 22.
Monday, May 16
- At 2:21 a.m., officers stopped a motorist for a traffic violation near the intersection of Adams Avenue and Sugar Creek Road. Investigation led to the arrest of the adult male driver after he was found to be driving while intoxicated.Β
- At 11:17 p.m., a resident of the 2000 block of Timberview Road reported a theft to police. A roommate of the victim used his debit card for unauthorized purchases. The roommate, an adult male, was arrested. The case will be referred to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorneyβs Office for review.Β Β

- At 7:42 a.m., police responded to a destruction of property report at a business in the 10500 block of Big Bend Road. A vehicle parked on the lot had a window broken sometime during the overnight hours.
Wednesday, May 18
- At 9:49 a.m., a resident in the 900 block of Dickson Avenue reported his vehicle stolen. Through investigation, detectives located the vehicle parked near Dunnica Avenue and Alexander Street in St Louis. The vehicle was returned to the owner.Β Detectives continue to investigate.
- At 11 a.m., an employee reported a theft at a business in the 100 block of North Sappington Road in Oakland. A wallet containing cash and credit cards was stolen from a purse.
- At 3:34 p.m., police received a report of a lost wallet at a retail business in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. Review of video surveillance revealed an adult male found the wallet and entered the business. He was located inside the store attempting to use one of the credit cards from the wallet. He was arrested.Β Β

- At 7:38 a.m., an employee of a business in the 700 block of South Kirkwood Road reported a checkbook and cash stolen from her purse. The theft occurred while she was working the previous night.Β
