Kirkwood Subdivision Targeted by Thieves
Kirkwood police report a number of thefts from cars that were all parked in one neighborhood.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.Â
March 26:
Police received seven reports of vehicle break-ins on Cedarbrook, Thorncliff, and Briargate lanes in the Osage Hills Subdivision. The calls started coming in just after 8 a.m. Police said all of the cars were unlocked when the items, including credit cards, two purses, identification and change, were stolen.

March 29:
At 1:11 p.m., police were called to the 100 block of East Washington Avenue for a report of theft and property damage. The victim said a window was broken out of her car, then her purse containing cash and credit cards was stolen from her car. Police said purchases were made with the stolen cards in Maplewood and Brentwood before she was able to cancel them.
