The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Feb. 7:

At 3:36 p.m., a resident called police after realizing she'd fallen victim to a scam and money was being transfered from bank account. Police said the resident of the 200 block of Monclay Court reported the unauthorized transfer of funds from her account after she checked her bank account online and found an unauthorized withdrawal of $460 during the last week of January. It was then determined that the money was withdrawn and wired to another country online via Western Union.
