KMOV’s Laura Hettiger Joins Crisis Nursery Board of Directors
Emmy award-winning anchor is dedicated to helping children.

The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is delighted to announce the appointment of Laura Hettiger to its Board of Directors.
Ms. Hettiger is an Emmy-winning Anchor and co-anchor of “News 4 Good Day“ on KMOV-TV and has been an enthusiastic supporter of the Crisis Nursery for several years.
Ms. Hettiger said, “It is important for me to be involved with the Crisis Nursery because I have seen firsthand as a journalist that not every child is safe and loved. I have covered and reported on tragic stories where kids are either injured or killed. Every time, my heart breaks, and I think, ‘what if’ someone had stepped in to help the situation.”

“While I cannot change what has already happened,” she continued, “I can do my best to make sure more people know about the Crisis Nursery, that the Nursery steps in, offers moms a respite during an impossible situation, prevents child abuse and neglect, and empowers families to resolve future crises. I believe the Nursery can save the lives--and change the lives--of our future generations.”
DiAnne Mueller, Crisis Nursery CEO, said, “Laura Hettiger is a fabulous addition to our Board of Directors! Her support for the Crisis Nursery comes straight from her heart. She shares the Crisis Nursery’s belief that we must advocate for others, especially children. And once the children are safe, the Nursery focuses on the entire family. She knows our goal is to keep families together safely, which we do 99% of the time!”

That’s a great legacy of an organization that will continue to shape our region’s future.”
