Police Investigate Missing $5,000 Watch

Plus, a Kirkwood home is vandalized while in the process of being sold.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

June 9: 

At 7:06 p.m. police were called to a home in the 900 block of Woodleigh Cove in Oakland for a theft report. Sometime during the previous two weeks, a watch estimated to cost more than of $5,000 was stolen from the residence.

June 6:

At 6:19 p.m., police were called to the 300 block of Par Lane for a report of a residential burglary. The residence was being sold to a developer and when the owner returned to retrieve personal items he discovered entry to the home, damage to the interior walls, and items broken throughout the residence.
