Recent Thefts May Have Suspects Smelling Good

Kirkwood theft suspects may smell like cologne and be driving clean cars.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

June 5:

At 8:36 a.m., police responded to a larceny from a vehicle in the 300 block of East Bodley. The victim reported a pair of Oakley sunglasses and Waterway carwash tickets stolen from the vehicle sometime overnight.

June 5:

At 7:13 p.m., police received a report of larceny from a vehicle in the 900 block of North Kirkwood Road. Two iPod Nanos and two bottles of cologne were stolen from the vehicle sometime overnight.

June 3 - June 9:

Kirkwood Police arrested three adults for shoplifting from a local businesses during this week. All of the incidents took place at a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road, police stated.
