Burglary at Kirkwood School

Kirkwood police are searching for suspects after money was stolen from a school, plus a number of thefts were reported by area businesses.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

June 13: 

At 11:07 p.m., officers were called to a business in the 200 block of South Kirkwood Road for a theft report after loose change was stolen from a tip jar on the counter.

June 11: 

At 8:08 a.m., police responded to the 1300 block of South Kirkwood Road for a report of a burglary. A school school window was broken and $160 was stolen from the school store cash register.

June 11:

At 6:31 p.m., police were called to a larceny in progress at a business in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. Two people attempted to steal a shopping cart of liquor. They fled when approached by employees and left the liquor behind.  

June 11: 

At 3:49 p.m., police were called to a business in the 300 block of South Kirkwood Road for a delayed theft report. A pair of Ramage women’s glasses valued at $200 was stolen the week prior.

June 10 - June 16:

Kirkwood police arrested one adult for shoplifting from an area business during this week. The theft occurred at a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.
