Trial Postponed for Kirkwood Man Accused of Child Molestation

The trial of a former Troy Buchanan High School teacher who is accused of molesting an underage student at his Kirkwood home has been postponed to Jan. 4. The trial date was originally scheduled for Wednesday.

arrested Trevor A. Davenport in March, saying that he had inappropriate contact with two female teenage students at his home in the 800 block of North Geyer Road in Kirkwood.

In August, Davenport was charged with second-degree child molestation, third-degree sexual misconduct and two counts of supplying liquor to a minor, according to court documents.
