Young, Young at Heart Dogs Look for Homes
Meet Pebbles and Keeley at the Kirkwood Petco this weekend.
PEBBLES
Pebbles is a Laso Apso who is looking for a forever home through Senior Dogs 4 Seniors. She is super friendly, walks well on a leash and is housebroken. She loves to play with and hide her rawhides for safe keeping.
Pebbles was neglected at her last home and is still learning her manners, but she takes direction well and learns quickly. She loves to sit on the couch with you and be close to you wherever you are. She loves the couch so much, she's been sleeping there at night.

Pebbles may be 11 (59 in human years), but you wouldn't know it if we didn't tell you; she's young at heart. Pebbles is currently on prescription eye drops because her eyes were not taken care of by her previous owner, but her eyes are clearing up and she'll be able to use over the counter drops to keep her eyes lubricated very soon.
Meet Pebbles and other senior dogs available for adoption at the Saturday. Senior Dogs 4 Seniorsο»Ώ is the Kirkwood Petco every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

KEELEY
Keeley is a 1-year-old corgi mix available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.
Keeley was picked up on the highway by a teenager right after being thrown out of a moving car. She was very lucky to have been quickly saved or she might have been run over by a car. She was taken to Jefferson County Animal control where she was rescused by the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.
Keeley loves being in a loving foster home and enjoys following her foster mom around and hanging out with other humans and animals alike. In the beginning, Keeley had some understandable fearfulness towards new people as she likely suffered neglect from her past owners, however she has tons of joy and love to give once she feels comfortable.
Keeley would do best in a family that would love playing with her and helping her ease in to normal pet life. This little dog has had a rough beginning, but she is hoping to turn things around and find a great loving forever home.
If you would like to meet Keeley or our other senior and not so senior adoptable dogs, stop by the Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
