District Basketball: Know (the Schedule) Before You Go

The one and done season is underway at Clayton, MICDS and Ladue for local teams.

There will be a full round of games to be played tonight and through Friday to decide district championships in the Class 4 and 5 Missouri State Basketball tournament. Be advised of the schedule of games before you go. There is an admission charge for all games.

Ladue High, Class 5, District 2

Girls: (tonight)

Semifinals tonight: St. Joseph's Academy (18-5) and Ritenour (20-7) at 6 p.m. The other game features host Ladue (17-7) and Nerinx Hall (16-9). Winners meet Thursday night for the title at 7 p.m.

Boys: (Tuesday)

Ladue (20-5) versus St. Louis U. High (15-12) at 6 p.m.

Chaminade (18-6) versus Riverview Gardens (11-15) at 8 p.m. Winners meet Friday night at 7 p.m. for the title game.

Clayton High and MICDS, Class 4, District 6

Girls (tonight) quarterfinals

Clayton (11-10) versus Villa Duchesne (7-14) at 5 p.m.

Westminster (17-5) versus Normandy (0-17) at 6:30 p.m.

MICDS with a 20-2 record has a bye into the semifinal game versus the winner of Clayton/Villa Duchesne.

Winners advance to the semifinals Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The title will be decided Thursday night at 6 p.m.

Boys (tonight)

At MICDS

MICDS (11-12) versus University City (6-12) at 6 p.m.

Westminster (12-11) versus Priory (4-18) at 8 p.m.

Normandy, with a 15-8 record and Clayton with a 13-11 record have byes into the semifinal games.

The semifinals will be held at Clayton at 7 and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday unless there is a Normandy/U. City match which will be played in the afternoon in front of a limited audience. The championship will be played at Clayton Thursday at 8 p.m.
