St. Louis County NAACP Dinner is Sold Out

 On Tuesday June 5 at the Clayton Ritz-Carlton Hotel The St. Louis County Branch NAACP will host it's own Freedom Fund Fellowship Dinner. The County's Freedom Fund Dinner is officially sold out with over 850 tickets sold.

The County's Freedom Fund dinner is the most successful in it's 70 year history. Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, Chair of the U.S Congressional Black Caucus is the Keynote speaker.

The NAACP is presenting the Inspiring St. Louisan award to several prominent St. Louisans who have made advancements in both the Private and Public sectors. The NAACP is also presenting the Benjamin Lawson Hooks exceptional educator award to 6 educators from across the state of Missouri.

The Margaret Bush Wilson Lifetime Achievement award is being presented to Norma Collins Advocacy Director AARP Missouri, and to Linda Rutherford Vice President Communications and Strategic Outreach Southwest Airlines.

The Wallace West Commitment to St. Louis County Award is being presented to Civil Rights icon Ina Boon retired National Membership Director and Regional Director for the National NAACP.
