First Lego League Competition This Weekend at MICDS
Event at McDonnell Center all day Saturday, Sunday.
Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS) will host the FIRST® LEGO® League regional competition of the 2011 Food Factor Challenge: “Keeping Food Safe”. Twenty teams made up of students ages 9-14 from schools throughout the region (Missouri and Illinois) will compete on Saturday and Sunday. Each day, several teams will be selected to compete at the Eastern Missouri Championship next month.
The event will be held Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13 – 8:30 to 3:30 p.m. each day; Robotic competition will take place each day from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
The event is at MICDS McDonnell Athletic Center (MAC), 101 N. Warson Road; (enter from Ladue Road just west of Warson for easiest access to the MAC).
