Junior leftie Alex Jasiek can be rough and tumble on a ice hockey surface, and smooth as silk on a pitching mound. Jasiek scattered 4 hits over 6 frames, and Jake Wood scored 3 times as Burroughs beat visiting Priory Tuesday, 3-0 in a conference game. Coach Andy Katzman is relieved to have Jasieck in uniform. The team made the trip to Florida last month while he was away playing junior hockey for six road games. Jasieck is serious about hockey, and hopes to play on the collegiate level. Thursday, Jasiek talks about what was working for him and catcher Justin Moon talks about how much he enjoyed catching this game. Also hear from coaches Katzman and Priory's Gregg Muensch.
