Ladue Council Agenda Deals With Three Major Resolutions

Accepting and approving a limited English proficiency program is on the docket.

The Ladue City Council Meeting will be held this Monday, March 16, 4 p.m. at City Hall.

Council members are bringing forward several resolutions.

  • A resolution accepting and approving a Title VI policy for the City of Ladue. This is a proposed resolution ensuring principles of equal opportunity.
  • A resolution accepting and approving a limited English proficiency (LEP) plan. This states that people who do not speak English well are entitled to language assistance.
  • A resolution consenting to the defense of the City in connection with litigation brought against the city by Kimble Et. Al. This is a class-action suit brought by multiple municipalities with regard to cell phone taxes.

Other items on Monday’s agenda:

The council will consider an ordinance authorizing the acquisition of certain property in Ladue for improvements to Litzsinger Road and authorizing an easement to AmerenUE to complete its project.
