Ladue Middle School Named As Character Fitness Model By St. Louis Rams

The St. Louis Rams have announced that Ladue Middle School is one of three schools in the area to be named 2013 Character Fitness Model Schools.

According to a news release from the team, Character Fitness "combines health and nutrition efforts, character development and physical exercise."

The team praised Ladue Middle School's participation in the NFL Play 60 program, which encourages children to spend 60 active minutes a day to combat childhood obesity.

The school will receive tickets to a 2013 Rams game and a banner. Other schools honored include Mehlville Point Elementary School and Rockwood Woerther Elementary School.
