Ladue Resident Drowns in Swimming Pool in Oakland
Accidental drowning occurred at Westborough Country Club near Kirkwood.
Stl.Today is reporting a Ladue resident with a suspected seizure disorder apparently drowned Sunday at the Westborough Country Club in Oakland.
The St. Louis County medical examiner's office identified the victim as Nathaniel B. Durfee, 47, of the first block of Ladue Manor in Ladue.
Durfee was spotted at the bottom of the country club's pool at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Westborough Country Club is at 631 S. Berry Road in the city of Oakland.

The lifeguard dived into the pool and pulled Durfee out and performed CPR on him.
An ambulance took Durfee to Des Peres Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.

No one witnessed Durfee go under water. A coroner's exam is pending.
