Ladue's Derek Rapp Appointed Chair of Research for JDRF International

Assumes new role as Chair of Research.

“As a member of the Executive Committee of JDRF International, I am very excited to assume my new role as Chair of Research.  We distribute well in excess of $100 million each year with an emphasis on translational research that will result in therapies that cure, treat and ultimately prevent T1D (type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes) at all ages and all stages,” said Rapp.

Rapp is Mergers and Acquisitions and New Growth Platform Lead for Monsanto Company and a member of the Monsanto Advisory Council.  He is married to Emily Rapp and they have three children.  They live inLadue.
