Ladue Swimmers Prep for State Meet Next Weekend
Maddie Wall, Etinosa Ogbevoen Score Well at Conference Meet at Home.
Ladue Swimmers found out tough the competition can be as they hosted the Suburban West and South Conference meet Thursday and Friday. The Parkway West and Parkway North teams piled up the points and left with a bundle of medals.
Ladue's senior Maddie Wall and junior Etinosa Ogbevoen distinished themselves and should put on strong showings at the Rec Plex in St. Peters at the Missouri State championships next weekend.
Wall captured first in the 200 yard freestyle in 1:58m.30 and was edged at the finish line by Parkway West's Taylor Maurer in the grueling 500 yard freestyle. Mauer was timed at 5:05.41 and Wall at 5:06.13. Both qualify for the state semifinals Friday.

Etinosa was a double champion. She took first in the 50 yard freestyle (24.29) and first in the 100 freestyle in 53.48.
