Patch caught up to Mormol for some brief statements:
How is your season going?
My season is going good this year. I'm consistently getting hits and getting on base. Also, I've been doing well at shortstop. I've improved a lot in the field with the help from my coaches. Our team has had a great season so far, we're 10-3 right now.
What is the favorite thing you like about being on your team?
My favorite part about being on the team is all my other teammates. Spending so much time with the other girls has made us really good friends and I have so much fun with them.
Comment on any special accomplishments this season so far.
So far one of my accomplishments this season is my batting average. Right now it's .692 which is the highest my batting average has ever been.
Also, I was just named athlete of the week at my school which I was really excited about.
What is the favorite tune in your I-Pod?
I'm kind of obsessed with Taylor Swift so any of her music is my favorite thing to listen to.
Nominations for Week No. 5 MVP will be in order Monday.
