MVP: Where do the Nominations Come From?
How to select the best athlete for each week.

If you are part of the group wondering just how does a local athlete in the Ladue-Frontenac Patch become an MVP--wonder no more.
Anyone can make a nomination. It can be a parents; brother sister; aunt, uncle, grandparent, anyone. Nominations do not have to come from either coaches or athletic directors.
If you think one of the local athletes deserves recognition, then place that athlete's name in nomination. Everyone is under consideration. If you can include a few facts, that's good, and a head shot, that's even better.

Nominations must be in by the end of each Tuesday. The four names nominated most often comprise each ballot. Voting goes on Wednesday and ends at 5 o'clock Thursday. The winner is presented on Saturday morning, then we start the process all over.
So where do I nominate? Either leave the information in the comments box below this article, or better email the nomination/with photo to james.baer@patch.com.

This all worked well for Trey Baur, MICDS baseball; Greg Gannon, Ladue baseball; Foster Bundy, MICDS lacrosse and Katie Prosperi, St. Joe lacrosse.
Nominations can come from any or all of the spring sports currently underway. The more the merrier.
