St. Joe Senior Honored for Community, School Work

Catie Fedyk recently recognized by St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley.

St. Joseph's Academy senior Caterina “Catie” Fedyk was recently presented with a 2011 Outstanding Student Leader Award by St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley. 

At the 2011 SJA awards ceremony,  she was the sole recipient of the  St. Joseph The Worker Award  recognizing service, and the Best All- Around Student of her class award recognizing character, and was one of two receiving the William H. Danforth “I Dare You!” leadership award. Presently, Catie is SJA’s nominee for the NASSP Herff Jones Principal's Leadership Award, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Model of Justice Award recognizing service.

She is a National Honor Society member and a committed member of eleven clubs, serving as an officer in four. In her seventh season with the St. Louis Rowing Club, Catie, a silver and bronze medalist, is the last SJA senior still standing.
